Dr. Tankhilevich is a founder and CEO of Magtera. Previously, Dr. Tankhilevich was a Research Scientist at the Academy of Science in St. Petersburg and is credited with being the first to realize magnon systems can be used as a source of terahertz radiation.
The prototype of Tunable Terahertz laser has been fabricated in the UC Santa Barbara.
The proof of principle has been demonstrated alsoin the UC Santa Barbara.
